About DJ Home Services — South Florida Handyman Company

Our story

DJ Home Services was founded by Daniel, a tradesman with 20+ years of experience across home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, and specialty water filtration. Before moving to South Florida, Daniel owned Coralust Reef Solutions — a retail and online reef and aquarium supply company — and ran a dedicated YouTube channel helping reef keepers build reliable filtration systems.

That deep background in water chemistry, plumbing, and electrical carried directly into the home services world. What started as helping neighbors with "quick fixes" turned into a full-service operation when demand outgrew weekends. Today, DJ Home Services is Daniel and his partner Ashley's flagship business, alongside our specialty water division, Aqua Tech Gurus.

What makes us different

Single point of contact. You talk to the same small team from quote through follow-up — not a rotating cast of dispatchers and subcontractors.
Trade depth. Most handyman companies can't handle real electrical or plumbing. We can — and we'll tell you honestly when a specialist is actually the right call.
Water expertise. Very few home service companies understand water chemistry at the level we do. It shows up in every filtration, RO, and water heater install we do.
Upfront pricing. You approve the total before we start. Always.
1-year workmanship warranty. If our install fails, we come back and fix it — no argument.
